VACANCIES FOR PARISH COUNCILLORS
Luddington Parish Council (LPC) currently has four vacancies for parish councillors to be filled by co-option. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the election of candidates by co-was deferred until 20th October 2020. As there were only two applications received by the deadline of 8th September 2020, recruitment for the remaining two vacant seats will commence in December 2020. The parish council will duly place notices on the notice boards, website and leaflet drop door-to-door to ensure everyone in the parish has the opportunity to consider applying.
LPC represents the needs and concerns of all age groups within the community and is a tier of local government. LPC is also responsible for a range of local matters that directly affect residents.
If you are a community-spirited person who is passionate about the parish you live in and would be interested in commenting on local planning applications, helping with community projects, being part of the development of the area and CIL projects, and generally making Luddington parish an even better place to live, LPC needs you!
